At the recent BMTA Annual General Meeting, BMTA were proud to welcome new board member, Will Douglas (pictured far left), onto the BMTA Board. With previous Treasurer John Clark reaching the end of his tenure and opting to retire from the Board, newly elected member Will Douglas will now take over as Treasurer.

 

As a certified Financial Adviser, Will brings more than 26 years of extensive financial expertise to the BMTA Board. His areas of proficiency encompass investment strategies, governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial forecasting.

 

Will has been an active member of the BMTA community for many years. Will is currently playing for the Sharks Cavaliers in the 40s B division and participates part-time in the Monday mixed competition. Will has also competed at the representative level for the BMTA and is Mustang #300, having competed across multiple QLD State Cup events. Will has also represented Brisbane Cobras at The Championships.

BMTA are very lucky to have someone of Will’s experience, qualifications and passion for the sport stepping onto the BMTA Board. We look forward to having him joined our committed team in working to deliver the objectives outlined in our Strategic Plan with the vision of providing exceptional touch football experiences to our members.
