About 

Referees play a vital role in Touch Football, ensuring our game is played in a fair, safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. If you are interested in having fun, getting fit, and making new friends or making a bit of money, you should consider being a referee, you won’t regret it! Interested in refereeing at BMTA? Those qualified

If you have already taken part in at least a Level One referee course and wish to start refereeing at BMTA please read and complete one of the below forms (please note if you are wanting to referee both Junior and Adult teams please just complete the Adult form). Email the completed form through to Riley on referees@bmta.com.au. ​

Those not yet qualified 

Brisbane Metropolitan Touch Association conducts Introductory Level One Referee Courses throughout the year - Course dates for 2024 are TBC.

 

You must be 12 years old to commence refereeing at Brisbane Metropolitan Touch however you can take part in the course before this age. Both males and females are welcome to referee.  All referees at Brisbane Metropolitan Touch Association are paid weekly.
