The Metro Cup is a competitive premier club competition hosted by BMTA showcasing some the world’s best players and referees.  The competition is played on a Friday evening in the following divisions - Premier, Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 in Men's and Women's and a Mixed Gender All Abilities competition.

The Metro Cup Season will be starting on August 4th 2023.

If you want to join the Metro Cup as a new club please email Riley at Competitions@bmta.com.au for information on the application process. Club applications for the 2023 season close on June 20 2023.

METRO CUP​ ALL ABILITIES

The All Abilities team will be an inclusive environment with individuals who have a diagnosed disability playing alongside family, friends and/or community members as teammates.

 

The All Abilities team participates within the BMTA Metro Cup in the All Abilities division and play modified rules created by Touch Football Australia.

The BMTA Metro Cup is played on Friday night at Brisbane Metropolitan Touch Association, located at Whites Hill Reserve, Boundary Rd, Camp Hill.

The All Abilities team will be a mixture of:

  • Certified Athletes – Individuals with a diagnosed disability

  • Team members – No diagnoses required, open to EVERYONE. If you are interested in being part of the team as an athlete, teammate, coach or manager please register your interest with a Club.

 

Registration fees will be subject to player numbers and will be finalised and communicated to clubs in the lead up to the season.
